Time Goes By Fast.......

Well I have been busy knitting projects to get them done. No luck on the pics will try my next post. I would like to list all the pics from projects I have completed.

I just recently finished a felted bag and it came out so cute I really surprise myself with it. I made it out of lion's wool, which wasn't my 1st choice of yarn, but it worked. My plan is to finished another one in the cascade 220, which I have heard it is really good felting yarn to use.

List of things to finish for the month of December:
  1. Blanket from Class ( which is becoming painful to knit)
  2. Quick 8 hour blanket for nephew's christmas present.
  3. Finish Dan's other wool sox

The Month of January:

  1. Larger Felted bag for knitting.
  2. Heart Pants for friends daughter
  3. Felted Slippers (so cute)

Future Projects:

  1. Anklet sox for myself
  2. Hat for Dan (Encore DK)
  3. Hat for my bother-in-Law (Encore DK)
  4. Another one of those painful blankets for my daughter, with my own alterations to make it less painful....

The list could go on for the whole new year if I continue to stop and think about. So for now I will leave it as that.

Until next time keep knitting......

Check it Off..........

Hello,

Well it's been a long week and now it's time for a new one to start all over again. In the past week I have finished alot of projects and I feel now I'm back on track.........

I finished a pair of mittens, two squares for my knitting class and I also squeezed in a scarf from a yarn I have been wanting to knit with.

So for the week to come I will be knitting the other match to Dan's wool sock. Finishing more squares to go to my blanket. and I might throw in another project. I'll have to see where I get at the end of the week.

Next weekend is my daughter Mollie's birthday and I will be pretty booked up with that. I'm hoping to start a blanket for my nephew Aaron for his birthday in December. I should start that mid- November, Hopefully...........

Also another goal I have is to start posting pics with my blogs.

Sometimes Life's not Fair......

Yesterday My Aunt called me with some of the saddest news. Her dearest friend has only less than a week to live. I started to get teary eyed when she told me because I have known this person for all of my life, she was more than a friend but part of the family..........

Lately, I asked God why her why someone with children so young, why someone who did everything for her family, who stayed my her husband through good and bad and even his own illness. I started thinking it's not fair for this person to suffer the illness she has. She never asked why me or got so depressed she didn't want to do anything, she was thankful for each day she had left with her children. She is a fighter and has stayed strong.......but lately I have seen that fire go out and her get so tired. Now it's time for her to rest. It will be sad but at least she will not be in pain. For God will heal her then........

I thank her for everything she has done and love her.She will be missed so much from everyone. I will pray for her and her family that they may get over this hard time.

And I will look at life with so much hope. And me thankful for everything I have including my health. I pray that I be able to see my daughter get older. And from time to time I will always remember that special person who never gave up and thank her.

Love You Cindy,

Where do I Start.........

Hello it's been a while,

Since last I have finished a ton of projects, taught myself how to make socks and mittens and have been knitting away . I have made 5 pairs of mittens and 3 pairs of anklet socks and 3 pairs of regular socks. Busy, busy. I recently just started taking a class at the Derry Middle School where we will be making a blanket out of different squares each of a different pattern. Fun! I haven't started the squares yet. I'm planning on starting them this weekend. Oh, so much knitting I love it. I have projects lined up from now until next winter. I just want to make everything. If I could only knit as fast as I buy the stuff I be all set. Maybe in a perfect world or when I retire from my full-time job.

I have also been working on a sweater that I'm making out of encore bulky yarn. It's such an easy pattern from "Pure and Simple" However I really don't care for the way it's coming out. It looks like it has a couple of holes in it, I didn't drop any stitches. Well I will post some pics when it is completed.

Here's acouple of pics of my daughter Mollie.......

Neck Pain....

My day started with neck pain. It could be the fact that my head was hanging off the side of the bed at 2am. My three year old daughther decided that in the middle of the night she would climb into bed with us. This has been happening regularly lately. So for the neck pain that has also been happening often. It never fails if Mollie comes into bed with us I wake up with the worst neck pain of my life, which lasts for a couple of days at least. Oh, the joys of motherhood:)
So with saying that my day has consist of popping Tylenol Extra Strength and not turning my head anywhere to the right.
