Mollie's Day

This passed Saturday was my daughter's Dance Recital at Happy Feet Dance School....


She was so excited and did a great job.

This weekend we will be going to a cookout at my Aunt's to see my cousin's new baby Sara Elizabeth.... I can't wait to hold her! I have been having baby fever lately.

Just Wednesday

Today is only Wednesday counting down till Friday.

Lately I have been working on two blankets one for my nephew and the other for my daughter.

Yesterday another baby was born in the family Sarah Elizabeth, so now I have a baby to knit for. I love new babies their the best....... as long as their someone elses for now.

Update on Projects.....

Month of April...

1. Finish up on already started projects.

• Baby Blanket for Nephew made out of Encore Worsted
• Pair of Sox for myself made out of Berrco Sox Yarn

2. Another baby sweater should be done tonight.

Month of May...

1. Start an awesome sweater for myself that I just got the yarn this weekend at Ewe'll Love It. Berrco Cuzcu so soft love it.

This Fo is for my nephew Aaron who I already made him a pair and he wore them out. Hopefully these stick around for a little longer.

This FO is some little treats for my cousin who is having a baby in May. I still have a sweater to knit. Which this time I will use a pattern "5 Hour Sweater", so it will not take as long as the other one.

This is my very first sweater, made from cascade 220 100% wool. This sweater took me 4 weeks to knit and another three to seam together. I really enjoyed knitting.

Booties made for a three month old out of Sugar and Cream 100% cotton. I have made three sets of these booties, but gave the other two pairs away before taking pictures.

Next is the new addition to the family Hunter.......... he's a Cocker

Day One

Today is day one of no smoking. I have wanted to do this for some time and decided today would be the day. At 830 this morning I had my last cigarette. At about 1245 I put the patch on and hope to succeed. I know it will take time but I hoping this will be it.....Wish me luck.

Onto knitting..... I have started a collection of little treats for my cousin's new baby. And started a knitting class where we are making bunny sweater so cute:) Mine is made out of cascade 220 100% wool dark baby blue with pink ascent bunnies so cute:) will post pictures soon.

Time Goes By Fast.......

Well I have been busy knitting projects to get them done. No luck on the pics will try my next post. I would like to list all the pics from projects I have completed.

I just recently finished a felted bag and it came out so cute I really surprise myself with it. I made it out of lion's wool, which wasn't my 1st choice of yarn, but it worked. My plan is to finished another one in the cascade 220, which I have heard it is really good felting yarn to use.

List of things to finish for the month of December:

1. Blanket from Class ( which is becoming painful to knit)
2. Quick 8 hour blanket for nephew's christmas present.
3. Finish Dan's other wool sox

The Month of January:

1. Larger Felted bag for knitting.
2. Heart Pants for friends daughter
3. Felted Slippers (so cute)

Future Projects:

1. Anklet sox for myself
2. Hat for Dan (Encore DK)
3. Hat for my bother-in-Law (Encore DK)
4. Another one of those painful blankets for my daughter, with my own alterations to make it less painful....

The list could go on for the whole new year if I continue to stop and think about. So for now I will leave it as that.
